As a leader of an archaeological team together with Romulus Rothschild to the remote island of Tristan da Cunha in 1904, Sir Leonard Spencer collected extracts of lavender, bay, rosemary, pine and cardamom in tiny translucent alabaster bottles and kept them as ingredients in his characteristic luxurious scents. The traces Sir Leonard Spencer found in the Posidonia Oceanica plants on the south of the island where more than 80,000 years old and the extracts he collected from them became the base for most of Sir Leonard Spencers perfumes. The scents Sir Leonard Spencer created during his many expeditions received a mythological status among PUJOL HARRIS clients as they deified his extraordinary nose.
